  • 2011 Girard-Perregaux Watch World Tour Opened in Shanghai

    The value of  Swiss watch manufacturer  Girard Perregaux GP ushered in  the occasion of 220 anniversary celebration, "Time masters ‧ witnessed 220 watchmaking  legendary" world tour   opened in the Hai Sinan mansion. From the  GP-Perregaux Museum Masterpieces collection of rare timepieces and fine contemporary watch full debut,  is GP-Perregaux for the first time held outside ofSwitzerland's biggest timepiece exhibition. The watch  show from October 20 until 23, open to the public, during the audience  will have the opportunity to witness the GP factory Perregaux watchmakers  watchmaking scene interpretation of transcendence.

     

    Each GP-Perregaux are traditional watchmaking and modern  art of crystal cutting-edge, beyond the realm of timepieces. Girard Perregaux GP  general manager  Stefano Macaluso said that in  celebrating the 220 ​​anniversary of the birth of  this particular brand  of the moment, we are pleased to put these art treasures to China, to show GP-Perregaux's long history and cultural heritage, sharing 220 years of watchmaking experience  and legendary Pierre.

     

    The exhibition leads the viewer  through the GP-Perregaux watchmaking course of development, brand philosophy and core values, more arranged chronologically, vivid display  more than two centuries of  the world's largest far-reaching event in modern history, man and art. Among all the rare timepieces, literature and tabulation tool,   called the "Esmeralda" antique pocket watch is undoubtedly  one of the biggest surprise.

     

    This revolutionary masterpiece with a GP-Perregaux's most prestigious of the three Golden Bridge Tourbillon movement, Matchless  sculpture decorated case, set  the culmination of a variety of carving, for the GP-Perregaux  museum town hall collection. In addition,  viewers can also enjoy  the modern GP-Perregaux  watch series, including the Geneva Watch Fair 2011, published in the latest products, and Girard Perregaux  GP 220 anniversary limited edition series.
